Welcome to Llangattock
CLICK FOR 2021 CENSUS DATAIntroduction
Llangattock Community Council wishes to express its great sadness upon the death of HM The Queen, Elizabeth II and offers sincere condolences to The Royal Family on behalf of our community. Many will recall with warmth and affection of the celebrations held in Llangattock Park to mark her Platinum Jubilee earlier this summer and her visit to the Glanusk Estate in 2012, which was thronged with crowds of local people. Older residents will remember her visit to open the Cwrt-y-Gollen army camp in 1963 accompanied by the Queen Mother and meeting many local people at The Bear Hotel. Like other public services, Llangattock Community Council will observe the period of mourning required for such a long-serving Monarch and public servant. Cllr Richard Jones, Chair of Llangattock Community Council.
